It is with great pleasure that EFA announces that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Indian Institute for Road Traffic Education (IRTE) for the exchange of best practices in the field of training and scientific research. During the morning the EFA General Secretary, Dr Manuel Picardi, gave a presentation on the working progress on the new Driving Licences Directive. In the afternoon, during the “Global” session, Dr Rohit Baluja (President of IRTE) and Dr Manuel Picardi signed a historic agreement to raise the level of quality in driver training. Dr Picardi says: “We are very happy to have signed this MoU. For EFA it is very important to expand his network with serious and reliable partners. We started working with IRTE a few years ago and we believe that we can enrich each other, from professional point of view, in the coming years.
